For one of our ancillary tasks we have to produce a magazine cover which features our film, this is a good advertising stratagy as it would reach different audiences from film trailers. We chose to name the magazine 'Crosscut' because not only is it a media jargon, it shows that the magazine cuts between different films, it features different genres which shows it has a wide audience. From our reaearch in magazine covers there are multiple puffs around the edges of the cover, which is why we have chosen to mimic this to show that we have used some of the typical conventions. The cover will have the poster cover in the background. Also things such as 'featuring an interview from the cast' are appealing as it gives readers an insight to the film and would entise them into watching the film.
Good blogging- this is just the thing to do.
