Poster Planning
These two film posters represent the type of thing my partner and I are hoping to portray. Poser #1, we think shows the social realism genre, due to the backgroud of graffiti and litter, the foreground represents a group of young women who we assume are having troubles of some sort due to the body language shown. The clothes represent the females as your average girl, which is one of the main differences when looking at the social realism genre, audiences want to be able to relate to this and in say a Hollywood romantic comedy, the lifestyle would be far more glamorous and harder to interpret your life in their shoes. Film poster #2 portrays the emotion we want to show through using close up shots, think it looks intriguing and with the title 'Funny Games' bring an ironic tone to the poster which brings audiences to think of why mix the two together.
